First and foremost, I am a COOK! However, I do bake some bad ass cakes. I just rather be cooking. When it comes to baking, my expertise includes but is not limited to, Banana bread, Chocolate-Almond-Blueberry-Banana Cake, Bread pudding and an array of decadent treats. My bread puddings are usually loaded with various fruits and spices. I have yet to eat a bread pudding that challenges the ones, that I have baked. When I’m passionate, I really am passionate. I have taken my time to ensure that my creations are nothing less than perfect.
I love the taste and texture of the custard and the other ingredients involved in the making of this dessert. It’s sort of a match made in heaven. The fruits add its own natural sweetness and its aromatics create a calming effect. This is a great dish for breakfast, brunch or dessert. Make it whatever you wish. It can be eaten with a fork or a spoon. I prefer a fork. Dare not give me any kind of cake without a fork….cake fork that is…that’s just one of my quirks. Yes, I will blank out if someone hands me a dinner fork when I’m eating cake.
