I don’t mean to brag….well yea I do…but my 13 yr old son, D’Angelo baked a Banana Carrot Cake FROM SCRATCH!
Yes you heard me….FROM SCRATCH! He peeled and grated the carrots. What was I doing? I was relaxing and shouted the ingredients from my bedroom. Once it was baked, I told him to bring the cake pan into the bedroom, so I could take a photo. I promised to slice and post it, to exhibit the decadence and moistness of the cake. It’s so darn good. Now, I just wish I had instructed him to pour in a cup of white rum into the batter….that would be totally awesome. This cake is almost gone!!
