Garlic Shrimp and Langostino in Roasted Tomato White Wine Sauce

Yes Lawd! Talk about eating with your eyes first!  Okay, turn around. Now look back at it. Say, “Yes Lawd!” in your most sultry voice. Whoieee! Can you taste it already?

You want me to throw down like this all the time? Here’s my secret: Don’t disturb me while I’m cooking, while I’m in MY zone creating culinary masterpieces. Just. Don’t.  Bother. Me. I’m not being rude, so please don’t be offended. I simply need to focus. When I’m in my sanctuary, where my creative juices flow, I keep my eyes on the prize food.

If I’m exhausted, don’t ask me to cook, because if my heart and soul isn’t in it 150% I can assure you, it just won’t be Ange’luscious. I pride myself in what I do and I have zero appreciation for bland food. I always bring soul to the food. Food takes time to finesse.

I was so happy to be home alone.  I can’t recall where the kids went, but I really enjoy those moments when I’m in my sanctuary all by my lonesome with my pots and pans and ingredients. It’s when I’m most efficient. Nobody in my ears asking me questions and distracting me. This is not the time for me to give you my time. I can’t and won’t pay attention to you right now.  I cook from sight and I don’t have time to make errors when I done paid a whole lotta money for these shrimps and langostinos; when I done prepped all my ingredients and my creative juices are flowing. Just. Don’t. Distract . Me. Find something to do. Anything.

When all is said and done, and this gorgeous, sexy culinary masterpiece graces your presence, then we can talk. Then you can have all the foodgasm you can possible have. Then you can ask me, “what are langostinos? How did you get it to taste like this? How come when I eat out, it never taste like this?” Then you can say, ” You need to get your own restaurant!”  Then you can text and video chat your friends to show of my masterpiece and say, “you don’t know bout dis spot.” and laugh in their face. Go ahead, swell my head up when I make you Garlic Shrimp and Langostinos in Roasted Tomato White Wine Sauce. Go ahead. Do it!
