Sexiness is a natural gift. It’s effortless. It exudes a tantalizing appeal. Yes I’m talking about food. Only a foodie will express their love for food and have it automatically translated into a sexual impression. Isn’t that amazing? For years, I would be interrupted during my food speeches, with comments such as: “you talk about food like its sex!” I don’t think its a bad thing at all. Sex is wonderful. That’s how we were all created. Food is wonderful! Nutrient dense food, that is. It sustains us and provides energy and all the essential nutrients that our bodies need.
Now I have been a fanatic for beets. Love, love love them! All kinds of beets. I roast them, boil them and transform them into juices. On certain day, I just don’t crave pasta, rice, dumplings or any of the complex carbohydrates. On those days, vegetables are my best friend and I eat according to my body’s request. This dish is vibrant. It’s like Mardi Gras. It’s definitely festive enough for my soul to appreciate this kind of culinary love and I felt generous enough to add a similar recipe in my cookbook.
If you need to prepare a dish in a hurry, this is one that doesn’t require much of your time or attention. You can prep the meat overnight and toss it in the oven whenever you are ready. The beets retain all of its moisture when its roasted and the colors remain vibrant. Wrap the beets in some foil paper and toss that in the oven too. Dinner will be ready whenever you are.
