Stir Fry Supreme

As I alternated between the laundry and creating another culinary masterpiece, my mind was consumed on cooking without limits, and  not having to create just one or two dishes, or trying to maximize my time before the work week started.  Even though my heart remains in the kitchen, the bills have to be paid, and I am grateful to the almighty to be employed.

Stir Fry SupremeThere are two authentic dishes on the menu today. The first was the bread pudding and THEN… and THEN,  there was the tried and true,  Stir fry Shrimp,  Kielbasa, and Chicken Breast,  in a Teriyaki sauce, tossed with farfalle.

Photos are immediately taken to upload later to my blog, and to my  facebook page at Ange’luscious Authentic Dishes. To my surprise, I still can not believe that I, Ange’luscious, ate the entire dish that is inserted in this blog. It was just one of those divine moments.   I just couldn’t stop eating. The strangest thing about it, is that I am a rice person. I could eat rice everyday, all day, but this pasta dish was al dente and good to the last drop.

stir fry shrimp and pastaWhile I still wore the “S” on my chest, creating my masterpieces in the kitchen and running back and forth to the wash room,  my son D’Angelo commented, “mom, doing the laundry takes so much time. You have to keep going back and forth, catch it on the rinse cycle or you have to rinse it again so that you can add the softener.”  By the way,  he was supposed to be doing his own laundry, but I had to get him out of my head.  If you resided in our household, you would understand. I am all talked out, I’m tired of repeating myself.  For peace of mind, I just do it on my own.

So, after giving D’Angelo  my approval to go outside and play with his friends ( so I could concentrate),  he returns to the house, claiming he was walking by and the aroma redirected him inside, and wanted to know if dinner was done.  When I grow up, I want to be just like D’Angelo. So I fed him. Matter of fact. We ate together. He loves the togetherness. He is annoying but very affectionate.

Can you believe that after eating all of this food, later on,  he was still claiming to be hungry? I definitely have to purge his system. He believes in eating 3 times a day.  I guess he is a growing boy.  I eat all day, but it’s fruits, salads, sandwiches, peanut butter, nuts, etc. Whenever I eat DINNER, like we did earlier, I am  satiated for an extended period of time. I know we eat a lot in this house but D’Angelo and my grandma Dulcie, who happens to be the smallest person in this household,  goes HARD.

I had also made vegetable rice and baked chicken.  I guess he just wanted to eat again.  Did I share him some more food? Yes I did. He is a growing boy.
