I finally purchased an Omega Juicer and I’m in love! Y’all can’t hold me back now. Mi healthy ting tun up!!!!
I damn near juiced all the produce on my kitchen counter, and y’all know my kitchen counter be over stocked with luscious fruits of all kinds. I have been meaning to make a purchase for the longest and I’m so happy that I did. This is pure, all natural juice, pressed from REAL fruits and vegetables. No water or sugar added and they are d’luscious!

2. Purple beets-chioggia beets-grapes-lemon-ginger

Ginger finds its way into most if not all of my juices. I love to feel that heat in the back of my throat. It’s just so darn good. Since I stopped using over the counter and prescription medication, it’s also my natural pain killer whenever I have my bouts with endometriosis. It really calms the pain. I don’t like to drink cold juices around that time of the month because it stagnates the blood. So, to remedy that I leave a glass or two out on the kitchen counter and once it reaches room temperature, it atutomatically becomes a home made medicine for me.
Lemon goes into everything juice and being one of those multi-functional fruits, it helps to alkalize my Temple while it brightens up the flavor of any juice or dish that it’s added to.
Beets are one of my favorite tubers which always makes its way home with me. It has an earthy flavor which I for one appreciate very much. Adding the grapes to the beets gave it a sweeter taste as well as take the edge off of the earthy flavor. If you don’t like beets much but really want to include it to your diet, try adding the grapes. It’s such an effortless detox.
All this time I had been blending, and I did enjoy my blender but….. nothing compares to a juicer! I’ll continue to utilize my blender as it does an excellent job on preparing healthy, d’luscious smoothies for myself and family.
My friend, Laura came to visit the other day and had the honor of taste testing my all natural juices. Must I say she is rather impressed? Yes she is. She has been blending her juices as well but after she did the taste test, and I reiterated the fact that there was absolutely no water or sugar, her exact words were, “mi haffi go get one a dem juicer deh.”
Of all the three juices, I’d have to say that the green juice was indeed my favorite. I just wanna run out and buy everything with a leaf t and juice it. It has such an interesting and d’luscious taste that really caught me by surprise. I’m so ready to run out and buy some collards, kale, chards, cabbages and anything I can find with a leaf. This stuff is awesome! I feel so pure when I drink these juices.
If you want some real medicine, this is it. I urge you to get out there, eat healthier and…..Taste the Rainbow!
