Shrimp Herbs de Provence

 

Jet lagged and hungry to the highest level, I was determined to cook my own food. I had been in travel status and was missing my culinary creations oh so badly. Airplane food just doesn’t do it for me. I like my food highly seasoned.

Instead of rest and relaxation, like any other normal person would have done, I decided to go into the kitchen. Sometimes I tend to forget that I’m not even close to being normal. I prepped really quickly and I created a dish that was extremely easy. Shrimp Herbs de Provence was the perfect idea for this occasion.

In my world, it’s blasphemy to have dinner without some kind of greens.  It doesn’t necessarily have to be a salad but I need greens and addition of kale would complete this meal.

For the life of me, I do not understand why folks think fast food is fast. I completed this meal in under 30 minutes. That’s shorter than how long you would have had to wait for a seat at a restaurant, or for the dinner to be served, or waiting through the drive through or for delivery.  I was able to put my own personal touch and flavors to this mouth watering shrimp herbs de provence.
Sleep can wait…
