Authentic Jerk Turkey Wings

 

Have you ever had Jerk Turkey wings? You’ve probably never even thought of jerking any part of the turkey huh? Well, If you haven’t, I do believe it’s time that you expand your culinary repertoire. How could you not have tried jerk turkey wings? Jerk sauce goes well with just about everything. And you know what’s mysterious about the taste. The turkey doesn’t even taste like turkey.  I mean, I know it’s turkey, but that jerk lends and adds a unique flavor to the turkey. I have always thought that turkey legs taste like pork anyway,  especially when you jerk it.


I have turned so many people on to jerk turkey wings, it ain’t even funny.  And they all LOVE it. The next time you see some turkey wings at the meat market or the supermarket, please be sure to pick up a pack. I urge you to do so as quickly as possible.  The beauty about turkey wings, is  that, it cooks super fast too. Season it up, put it in the oven and walk away. Let the oven do all or most of the work for you.

Oh Lord, I’m thinking about turkey wings again and there is no more left in my deep freezer. I may have to go and buy some more. I usually jerk the turkey wings in the oven on high temperatures because that technique, creates a crisp texture of the skin, which I totally enjoy and can’t seem to get enough of.
