I’m so into blending and creating my own unique smoothies and juices, that I have totally forgotten and has absolutely no interest in buying juices from the carton or bottles anymore. Even my twelve year old son, has found this healthy lifestyle interesting. He isn’t afraid to whip up his smoothies whenever he is in the mood. He is being educated about healthy living and eating at an early age, so I am quite sure he will do well as he gets older.
I usually create what I call “impulse smoothies.” I really don’t put much thought into what I’m going to prepare. Once I make my way into my Sanctuary. I just do it. Any blender will do just fine. You don’t need a fancy schmancy, expensive blender. Add a little crushed ice and some milk and any other ingredients that you see fit and have yourself a grand time. This smoothie includes pineapple, banana, kiwi, pear and peach.
Smoothies are so fulfilling that it will keep you going for a great portion of the day. In my opinion, I consider smoothies: detox without effort. It’s a great way to drink your fruits. Whomever said milk does the body good had it all wrong. SMOOTHIES DOES THE BODY GOOD!
Pineapple, Banana, Kiwi, Pear, Peach Smoothie
2 cups of pineapple (cut in chunks)
1 banana (cut up)
2 kiwi (cut up)
2 bosc pears (cut up)
2 peaches (cut up)
1 cup almond milk
Directions:
Place all ingredients in a blender
Blend until smooth
Pour into chilled glasses and serve
