I would rub some nice, soft boiled green bananas, yellow yam and dumpling with this sweet and sour pork with pineapples right now! Real talk! My absolute favorite preferences for pork is jerk pork, sweet and sour pork or a spicy braised pork. I especially love this sweet and sour sauce that I created to go along with this dish. Adding an authentic oriental flair propels me into a whole different culinary horizon. An excellent compliment to sweet and sour pork would be rice or noodles. If your from the islands don’t be ashamed to devour this with some ‘grung’ food. The provisions will definitely keep you fuller, longer.
My son D’Angelo devoured this dish. He insist that every single time I cook pork, I should cook it this way. But then again, he says that for every single dish.
My friend Stacy drove all the way to my house, when she heard that sweet and sour pork was on the menu for dinner. Upon her arrival, she refused to let me be, until I shared her a plate (as well as a take home plate) and told her my secret. She is a friend indeed, so she definitely deserved to know what authentic ingredients were involved. I am introducing her to so many of my creations and she is extremely receptive to all of them. She goes above and beyond for me, and I do the same for her.
Do you have friends and family that drive near and far for you food?
