As I gain awareness of all the garbage/slow poison in our food supply, I’ve realized that the Food Poisoning and Death Administration and those responsible for our food supply, couldn’t care less about the “food like substances” that we have grown accustomed to. Therefore, in honor of my body, I’ve made a conscious effort to eliminate, avoid and/or replace most of what I eat with healthier selections. I’ve learned; always in learning mode and will share as much of the knowledge I’ve acquired along the way, with you.
Inquiring minds are inspired and always intrigued about what I eat. I’m an advocate for eating real food and limiting processed food as much as possible. I’m not diet specific. I’m not raw vegan and don’t think I will ever be because my body doesn’t adapt well to 100% cold food. Cold raw food is not my thing unless they are heated or at room temperature. I cook just as much as I juice and blend smoothies.
Creating recipes from scratch is my thing. Although that is all fine and dandy, there are certain things I just can’t and won’t attempt to make on my own, like rice. If I put my mind, heart and soul to it, I’m absolutely sure that I can create many of the things in my pantry, however, it would be very time consuming create every single thing from scratch. I prefer to support like minded individuals who are also health conscious to create awesome additions that will aid and improve nourishing my body and the quality of my lifestyle.
